Best stand I’ve owned. For the size, it’s very lite. Seat is just the rite size and feels just fine. This stand paired with the DS sticks, its a perfect run&gun set. The thing I like most is how the sticks fit rite against the stand keeping that weight close to you! Either the 1.0 or the .5, you can’t go wrong!
I have an old LW self-climber that I bought in 2008 when I started bowhunting and it's still in great condition...but man have these stands come a long way in the last decade! My new 1.0 hang-on is insanely light and much less cumbersome than my old climber. Even the post that connects the seat to the platform is made of hammered alloy. The cheaper Lone Wolf Hunting Products (vs. the Lone Wolf Custom Gear made and sold by the D'Aquistos) use aluminum tubing for that post which is more likely to ping and pop here in the colder Canadian climate. Definitely not an entry-level stand. Lone Wolf Custom Gear is as good as it gets IMHO.
Hands down the best mobile stand on the market. I'm 6'3 175lbs with size 13 shoe and it is all around just perfect for those run and gun sits. Not to big not to small and carries in like you have a small pack on your back..
I’ve hunted out of Andrae’s stands for over 15 years and I honestly can say this stand bites harder and is more secure than anything on the market. You add the grommets and this thing is a tool not a tree stand.
This is my first actual mobile set up. I love it! I’m getting on up in years and it was my son who got me into going mobile. He said he wasn’t gonna let me rot away in permanent stands! LOL and this past season he said you don’t have to go 20’ up and he was right. I hunted all season at about 10’ and had at least a hundred deer under me and never once did I get busted. This stand is the perfect size for what I would call the older generation of deer hunters, not saying it’s not for the younger generation also, but I just think for us older hunters it’s not as intimidating when you have a platform with plenty of room like the 1.0
Very lightweight fills the niche of a rock solid stable platform perfect for moving around.
Finishing is fantastic! No sharp edges on mine. The seat connects with ease to form the packing shelf. I plan to own this for a very long time. Thank You Andrae.
I bought a LWCG .5 earlier in the year that I use primarily with a saddle.I liked it so much that I bought a 1.0 for situations where I didn't use a saddle.I one stick climb and a LWCG double stick with a two step aider packs perfectly on the seat post. With the step,It's like carrying a 10lb climber that I can get up into any tree with.I don't even know it's on my back. It's super easy to hang, extremely quiet and because the seat sticks out from the tree further, surprisingly comfortable.Like all LWCG,it's just an extremely well-thought out piece of gear. All they need now is a sub 10lb hand climber.
Never thought I would get back into a mobile hunting rig again after years of hunting stationary stands and ladders. I’m so happy with this stand and how it caters to my style and how versatile the functions are in so many situations. You will never go without a place to set an ambush point with this set and you will never regret spending the money on this because it is built to last a lifetime!
Love this stand, it is my favorite one in my fleet by far. Only two complaints, because of the water jet / machining the edges are sharp and I'm worried about cutting my gear, and the seat bolt is coming a hair loose, otherwise it's bullet proof, super light, and dead quiet!
I really enjoyed the 1.0 this past deer season. It’s lightweight, easy to hang, and very comfortable. This innovative stand is top notch quality and I highly recommend it for anyone who is a mobile hunter.
Great stand super light and super comfortable.
Great stand for the serious mobile hunter
