Out standing! I had my doubts about the size at the start. I have size 11 double E boots and 250lbs I have plenty of room standing an rotating, I love how close I can stand against the tree due to the moon cut top platform. The seat is perfect being 38" waist I thought it would have been tight, glad I was wrong, I sit comfortable and the cushion is great! Sat for 5 hours straight not having to stand up once, Can't wait to get an all day in! It's solid, the teeth are a huge benefit the bite to the tree is insane. Light weight you don't even feel it on your back walking in, low profile you don't have to worry about it catching brush. So easy to unpack and get set up, been in it atleast twice a week after work since I got it at Harrisburg show. I save a lot of time unpacking and setting up and packing up. It's a fast climber for sure! The toe bar cut out is nice but personally I love climbing the old way toes out! Easier to break the teeth loose from the tree too! Worth every cent and I'm pumped to harvest some deer with it!
A bit more technical than your standard climber but an awesome stand. This thing is light as a feather compared to other climbers, extremely mobile, and can work on smaller trees than your standard climber giving you options. The foot extension is a must buy with this stand or the seat would be almost unusable. It definitely isn’t as comfortable as your standard climber but it serves its purpose well being very open for archery shots (sitting or standing) and being mobile for deeper hunts.
I was a diehard Loggy Bayou guy for about 18 years, my wife bought me the LW crossover climber for a wedding present this past September and I shot a bunch of deer from it this past season. The stand is exactly what a mobile bow hunter wants and needs cannot say enough about it. Already pumped for next season
This is the first climber Ive ever owned that I truly feel safe and secure climbing any distance up any size tree. Once at the top I know this stands not going anywhere with those sharp teeth and straps synched down. Extremely light weight, quiet and so easy to put up, take down. I used to leave my climbers in the woods back in the day because it was so aggravating to put it back together and tote back out. After buying this climber I’ve been able to hunt areas that I never was able to go unless Id sit on the ground or be too tired to walk in with a heavier climber. Seat could be a tad bit bigger but still able to sit all day very comfortably! If you're in the market for a top notch stand made in the USA with high quality material that’s gonna last you a lifetime the Lone Wolf Crossover climber is a must have!!!!!
This stand has everything I was looking for in a stand. Lightweight, packability, silence, and the way it grips the tree are all second to none. The only hesitation I had was platform size, but it didnt really bother me too much, and there is more than enough room to move around while standing. While sitting, tiptoes of my boots on the very edge of the platform. Only complaint I have, is it would be nice to have a small micro foot rest to be able to stretch out a little while sitting. But other than that, I absolutely love this thing. This is unquestionably the best climber on the market, hands down! Well done LWCG!!

Honestly, I was truly surprised by this climber. The range of trees I was able to get into and the easy minor adjustments to make this stand that comfortable is remarkable. It will take a few sits to figure it all out. I recommend sitting in the yard a few times with it and learn what pitch and height you like to set the seat at. And then go from there. The webbing is great for a quick sit run n gun style but the seat pad really puts this stand in the conversation for a rut runner for sure. Recommend it to anyone. Great quality and best and easiest stand to set up and take down. Just awesome
If I had to describe the crossover in one word it would be “outstanding”. Having used the OG hand climber since 2007, I’m no stranger to climbers. The crossover is a better climber in every way, lighter, flatter packing, more adjustable, more bite, and more comfortable seat. You barely notice the stand in your back. So for anyone who enjoys hunting off the beaten path, deep in the timber, look no further than the crossover.
This climber is a game changer! I shot my biggest buck ever the first time I used it. After not having pictures of this deer for several days I decided to switch hunting areas. This is the most mobile stand set up that I have ever found. Fits perfectly between the frame and pack on Kifaru Stryker XL.
I've yet to get the Crossover onto a tree; however, a few observations:
1. The climber is well built; it's a quality product and it's clear folks with experience have thought through how it'll be used, the details, etc. I’m glad to benefit from this thought and experience.
2. The customer support has been incredible. Unfortunately, my Crossover was damaged in shipping. No fault of the product or packaging. Jared was super-helpful and super-responsive and he got a replacement shipped even as I was shipping the damaged unit back. The replacement came quickly - Jared and Lone Wolf streamlined the process and demonstrated how much they support customers. I also had a question about the climber and Zach was, likewise, very helpful.
I really like the product and the support - for me, it's why I choose Lone Wolf: because they build good, thoughtful products and their support is terrific.
I have been using the original Lone Wolf climber for roughly 10 years now. This new climber is no different. It is rugged as well as lightweight and I would bet to last a lifetime, just like the original. Continue the innovation, LWCG. You guys are a blessing to the hunting community.
Way too expensive....like 3 times too much. You would be way more ahead to price it in the xop range and gain alot more sales and following.
