Very solid! It holds my Sony a6700 setup with no problem at all. The weight and packability of the Pocket Arm are amazing. Honestly, the only way I could choose another camera arm is if I had a full-time cameraman. From bowhunting in the saddle to carrying the muzzleloader, this thing has been perfect.
Second time bring it in the woods got to film my first buck kill. Worked flawlessly and super light weight would recommend to anyone
Full disclosure, I won this as part of a self filmed contest in a Facebook hunt group. That being said, prior to this I used a larger heavier camera arm I purchased for around $100. This camera arm made an incredible addition for my filming. It packs down and slips in a backpack water bottle pocket, and I can even stick it in my pants pocket if I really want to! It’s lightweight, simple, and quiet to set up. Follow the advice of several sponsored tutorials and it will carry a good size camera no issues. I use a Sony a6400 Dslr camera to film and it was perfect. My one gripe is the bounce the full size version has when it’s fully extended. It’s fairly easy to settle the camera before you let it go, so it’s not a deal breaker.
Love this arm, so compact and light, yet so sturdy on the tree. Even with using a dslr.
I’m really pleased with the Pocket Arm! It’s extremely light weight and compact, fit in my pack perfectly and was extremely easy to put on the tree. Held up really nicely to my canon g20 camera with fluid head. I’m pushing the 5lb limit on the arm and it’s handling it just fine! Extremely happy with this product.
Ran this camera arm the last month of the rut here in Pa. It performed perfectly. Plus shaved off at least 4 or 5 lbs of weight. It’s sturdy enough to support my Cannon g30. Moves smoothly. I love it
This arm is rock solid. Due to the fact that it is light and compact, it has made self filming more enjoyable. It has also helped me save time while setting up! I highly recommend paying a little more for this arm now, rather than something less expensive (like me), because you will not need to replace this arm ever.
This is a follow up review to my open box review I posted previously on here now that this arm has been put to use on a multitude of hunts this season filing 5 tags in 3 states so far! I’m still in love and impressed with it!! It being so compact is a game changer! Now my arm never gets left behind! So quick and easy to mount to tree and is rock solid. I did modify it by adding an extra section to make it a touch longer and that totally helps me record shots while sitting on my left side since I’m right handed and mount the arm on my right. Definitely as always with lone wolf gear I totally recommend this arm and after you use it you will be kicking yourself for not buying it sooner!!
Versatile pack ability, light weight and just enough engineering to get superb functionality while keeping things practical for filming. It’s small enough to go where ever I go and keeps my camera set up in the woods with me instead of back at the house or in the truck, where my old arm spent most of its short life.

Unbelievably lightweight and easy to mount quickly and silently. Works great with a small fluid head and average video camera/ DSLR. I wouldn't call it a game changer; however, it will definitely see much more action than my heavy camera arms. I will admit, it's not quite as sturdy and has a little more bounce than my Muddy Pro, but it is a fraction of the weight and installs much much quieter. If you're a run n gun or pack way in type of Hunter, who likes to video his hunts, this is a must-have. I will also admit the cost seems excessive for what it is.... Minimum material, minimum labor; it should be $150 at most; unfortunately, it is quite pricey.
Very impressed with how sturdy this camera arm is! Sets up on the tree super quickly and easily and really is small enough to just throw in your pocket! Season opens up this weekend and I'm stoked get to put it to use!
Very nice product here for those who love to video hunts or whatever you want to use it for. This will be my 1st year videoing my own hunts, so I know I’m up for a challenge. Super lightweight and easy to pack in my Wolfpack backpack. Grips the tree like a lion catching his prey and not letting go, just like the stands and sticks. Good job

I am fully pleased with the Pocket Arm and will use it for glassing whitetail deer. I added a short black rubber hose (with nut and wood plug) to protect the pointed bolt. Will use with Vortex Pro Car Window Mount (pan-tilt head 11.9 ounces). Made a bracket from aluminum T section (2"x2"×1/4 x 2.625" long); with square hole for epoxy-set nylock nut and 1/4-20 x 1" long bolt (with short nylon bushing in the Pocket Arm hole); base of T is 1.5" wide with 45 degree step bevel = arca swiss just in case it is ever needed. Might store the pocket arm in a Klien 5539L zippered canvas bag (18"L x 8"H x 3.5"W). Thanks for a great piece of gear! Jim B
I’m not just completely impressed with my camera pocket arm I’m impressed with Lone Wolfs customer service. When I ordered this arm I asked a question in the note area. Got a hand written response from the owners wife herself. That means a lot! Especially, since recently dealing with another archery company and getting treated awful like I was a burden and waste of their time with a legit Warranty issue. That said, this pocket arm on initial review is so freaking sweet. Being completely unbiased I truly love it. If it had a flaw I have no reason not to say. Sure some people say the strap it too short, but if your in bigger trees then just get a longer strap. That’s definitely not a flaw. I locked it on a 4x4 in my basement first due to rain out side and the base was so solid!!! Then later on a tree, same thing! Rock solid. Honestly looking at the base I was skeptical but after using it I’m like, damn this is so sweet. I had a Muddy Outtfiter arm and that base was huge and them linkages where sloppy and made it impossible to keep balance when going from extreme left to right from the excessive play in it. But with this lone Wolf arm it’s actually more sold with my Sony Ax33 camera. Is this pocket arm pricey? Hell yeah but in my opinion it’s definitely worth it tho. Now instead of having a big heavy bulky camera arm I left at home cause I hated toting it in the woods I have an arm that’s easy to pack and don’t weight shit that’s with me at all times. That’s just my opinion and if you don’t agree your just wrong lol
The lightest, most compact and quickest hanging camera arm on the market. You can use this arm with 2 or 3 “links” depending on your setup.

Best camera arm on the market hands down! I quit filming a couple years ago because of the bulk and weight i had to pack into the woods and the difficult setups. I picked up the pocket arm last year and it got me excited about filming again!

It’s amazing for pack ability and running and gunning. Has a little bit to much bounce to it for me to use it everywhere. Absolutely can’t be beat for running and gunning tho.
The pocket arm is the best lightweight camera arm I personally have used up to this point. It’s low profile and light weight makes it easy to pack it in with my mobile hunting setup. This arm is easily set up on the tree in less than a minute for me. Only downsides I have found is the cam buckle strap from factory is a bit shorter than the straps on my stands so that needed changed out. The only other issue is that sometimes when you are panning your camera the arm can jump a bit making your video not as smooth. I’d also like to see an option with one more folding arm to give a little extra length. All in all it’s my favorite arm since I’m always packing in my stand/sticks/camera gear. You can’t get anymore light weight and easy to use for self filming.
I do a lot of self filming and one of the bulkiest things in my pack was my old camera arm. Switching to this camera arm has shaved a lot of weight off and made more room in my pack. The set up and quietness on this camera arm is a game changer. It also is super sturdy, running the Sony A7IV with a 70-200mm, I was skeptical of the steadiness but it has suprised me. Lone Wolf Custom Gear is legit and built for the run and gun hunter, simple as that.
Great Arm , very packable ! lightweight !!!!! wish you could design a foldable base that makes the base more stable for larger cameras and camcorders ! the base of the arm is fine for most trees if the attachment point is super tight ! but some of the trees are so hard and with winter comes slick bark ! a foldable base of some sort that gives the base more stability would be nice ! foldable so that it is flat for packing ! the arm is great though ! it was a little stiff at first !!!
