These j hooks are an essential component to my LWCG set up! I said i would never buy them because they’re to much of a fiddle factor. But my good buddy talked me into trying them. And i was extremely wrong! Keeps the sticks tight to the stand and they’re on and off in the matter of seconds. I would HIGHLY recommend them.
Miles deep? Busting through the thickest wettest crap in the middle of no where and looking to be quiet and stealth the last 50 yards. Jhooks get er done. Rock solid and hold my 5 double step sticks tight and noiseless to my .5

What an amazing and genius idea to hold your sticks. I love them and have like 4 sets of these. Also perfect so you don’t have to keep your straps on the sticks. Great job! I highly recommend this for anyone during the LWCG systems.
The small J Hooks are a great fit to keeping the mini ladders attached to my Ambush and .5 Lock-on stand. I painted mine blue, so I can find them in the leaves 🍁. ( I’ve lost too many items that were black or camo, when dropped )

Great Tree stand
These are a must have if you wrap your sticks with rope or straps to secure them to your stand. I wrapped mine with slayer tape otherwise you get metal on metal noise. They take a little more time to connect than just a strap but they definitely hold them tight with no movement on the sticks.
These are a must have. I put orange electrical tape around the knobs in the event that I drop them when undoing my sticks. They really keep your sticks secure and quiet.
Work perfectly, no noise
This stand/stick setup has completely changed my hunting strategy and mindset. I achieved late season success on a buck only one stick high in a small oak tree. When i got down after the shot I reached up and could touch the platform of my .5 when standing on the ground. During previous years I would have never thought this was possible. First of all it made for a quick and easy hang and hunt setup, and the results proved successful. Having this setup has enabled me to test limits and try things otherwise would not have been possible with my previous hang on stands or even my saddle setup.
Allows for the most solid connection between a stand and climbing sticks that you will ever experience! Great add on!

I personally liked the older j hooks than the new. Old j hooks had the bigger plastic knob and was easier to screw on/off and handle with gloves with the bigger knobs. Just my opinion but the new ones do secure sticks well!
Ive used everything to fasten climbing sticks to stands over the years. This is the best solution to that problem

These are super awesome! Haven’t used them in the woods yet since the season is out but I have put them on the ranger and they work great!
Good product just didn’t work for what I wanted- looking to connect the compact doubles to the fix- some quick release silicon strap would be nice
