Ran both eyelets through center hole. Works very well for me.

Give you the extra step without a fixed height stick. they will grab your boot tread if it extends around the side of your boot or has deep tread. Be careful about how high your last stick is off the ground… may have to pry your boot off the cable aider at eye level to get free! Only draw back I’ve experienced other than the boot getting hung up Is the material the cable is treated with is rather thin and has already worn through on two of my cables and only Owned / hunted with about a dozen sets.
I love all the products since I've been buying lone Wolf from the old sit and climb to the assault to the crossover and The 0.75 lock on and compact with aiders climbing sticks !!! Well thought out and my lone wolf backpack amazing thanks a bunch 👍
Great way to get extra height out of your double steps with vary little additional weight.
Love how these aiders can be twisted and stored away on each stick. Once the aiders are deployed, they sit at an outward angle, away from they tree. This allows easy foot placement in low light. They also allow you more height out of less sticks.
They are great and stack together well
Aiders are awesome. I used rope in the past and I can’t believe the difference. One rubber strap paired and tethrd versa straps is the way to go.
Cables are just the way to go, the right blend of stiffness and pack ability.
Love the 17 inch cable aiders! Easy to use and gives you those couple extra feet without carrying more sticks
Sticking like glue
First time using aiders and they work great. Will be installing on all my sticks and now able to climb higher with 3 than I did with 4.

In conjunction with the 17” double steps, these things are money! I can get 20’ with a set of 4. Super strong and easy to feel through an insulated boot, unlike amsteel.

Super tough I only run two sticks with aiders on both and am reaching the heights I want!
I used the aiders on the bottom 2 and they work as designed…keep that toe on the tree

Haven't used yet. Definitely prefer these to rope aiders (think climbing down in the dark trying to put your foot in the loop) Need to order another
Great product! Everything you’d expect from LWCG line of products. The double steps paired with the fix platform is the best I’ve used to date in the industry, and I’ve tried every brand out there. I’m a gear junky. Waiting on the .75 to come in. I’m gonna run the .75 for longer sits this coming season and keep the fix for making quick moves in the field when necessary. Great product and design, 2nd to none, Hands down.
The cables make this a full size stick, without the weight or bulk. The cables, vs straps or Amstel are rigid, and you can find them in the dark while descending the tree.
Easy to install and comfortable while climbing! I use these 17” aiders on my bottom (2) full sticks and get me to a 12’ hunting height.
Get quality product all my climbing stick have them.
I attached this aider to my regular lone wolf stick and it fit perfectly, the only thing I had to do was replace the bolt with a longer one . I used it the rest of the season and it’s done the job
The cable aiders are so easy to use. I don’t see how you could beat pairing them with the double steps.
Bought 4, 17" single step cable aiders to attach to my XOP minis and they work great. Best aider system out there!

These cable aiders are sturdy, easy to I stall and a game changer. I love how the rotate up out of the way when packing up.

Added the 20” cable aider to my bottom xop stick which required a longer bolt but well worth it! I’m getting 13ft up with two sticks which is high enough for me in most places! I was only going to add it to the bottom stick but it’s so stable I will add it to another stick so I can run with two sticks and hunt 14ft up- if your hesitant on trying it just buy one and try it- you will be ordering more- totally the way to go😊
The LWCG wire aiders have transformed sticks!! I’m able to achieve the same height as my old LW sticks, with 2 steps and so so much lighter. They are 50% of the weight of the LW sticks. I like the 20” aiders, better than the 17”, because of my foot size.
Aiders are noice! That’s me with a conservative stretch between sticks, 4 sticks 4 aiders and I’m pushing 18ft easy. If need be I could really gap them apart to push over 20ft! makes for a nice climb well made pack decent. BUY EM!
