This seat made a huge difference in comfort. Go from 4-5 hrs sits to all day if you like.
As always, excellent quality. Going to make my .5 even better. Really excited about the upcoming season with this set up.
Ok this thing is awesome. I sat for 7 hrs in it today and was happy as heck. Hunted all last season with the normal seat and this was a big upgrade
Seat does not correctly fit the original.5 Should be stated.
Mesh Treestand Replacement Seat
Store owner replied: Thanks for the feedback. We reached out to you and we apologize for any inconvenience with your mesh seat. Only one tab on the seat will lock into the platform of your 1st generation DS.5. This is the same for any other sized seat because the platform has been redesigned from its original version. We will update the description based on your review.
Love the mesh seat for comfort and versatility. If you are in your stand long I highly recommend.
Spend the money! Totally worth it for the long sits. Helped me kill my biggest bow buck today because it was such a great seat!
Very comfortable for longer sits. I love it!
Absolutely love it. Huge upgrade in comfort from stock seat in my opinion
Way comfier than the cushion seats
What can I say, another amazing high-quality American product. Thanks for making such great hunting gear. And staying ahead of the competition!
Game Changer! Will never use the foam seats again. Makes all day sits so much more comfortable.
Fit and finish near perfect. Would have given it better score but haven't hunted with it yet. Didn't buy until after season.:)
Mesh seat is very worth the upgrade, especially if you plan on long sits or have a bad back!
You can definitely stay all day with this seat.
Easy to install, built well!
Very comfortable, and built very solid. Install was easy and fit my 1.0, nice seat for all day sits.
Extremely comfortable. Had to file the tabs a bit to get it to lock in to platform.
Helped make my .5 easier to sit in all day!
Made a world of difference
I added The mesh seat to my .75 and it is definitely an upgrade from the cushion. With the seat level if you sit strait up against the tree you feel the square tubing a little but adjusting the seat to angle back a bit more gets rid of it.
The mesh seat made a world of difference for my .5! It made longer sits way more comfortable and enjoyable.
The seat is very comfortable. It's more like sitting in a chair, then like a stool like the regular seat. I find I'm able to sit for twice as long with the mesh seat. A couple of things to know. It's very big and when it's in the load shelf mode, I find it catches on branches and brush because it's so much bigger. I put the seat flat when hiking in and that seems to solve the issues. Your but gets cold more because the wind blows thru. I put bungee straps on the bottom part of the seat and my vest rides there. Bottom line is that if you like to sit for long periods of time than this seat is a huge help.
Its a much wider Profile when on my back and sneaking threw the woods. When I’m hanging out of the tree trying to hang it. The seat is big enough to make it a bit more difficult to hang. I went back to my standard seat.
Game changer on top of a game changer !! Much more comfortable than the stock seat. Allowed me to be much more comfortable on long sits and I’m a large man. I highly recommend changing to this seat👍👍
Best upgrade you can do. So much more comfortable & still locks in the shelf position with the standard post. LWCG 👊
I bought the seat hoping it’d make the sit more comfortable and man did it ever! I went from liking the stand to loving the stand now! Best investment I’ve ever made!
Adds a whole new level of comfort to a great stand.
Absolutely worth every penny and ounce of weight. If your concerned about it being heavier than the standard seat don't be. Can sit all day and be comfortable.
Great purchase for my .5!! Very comfortable upgrade, would highly recommend.
No pics at this time.. I've logged a shit ton of ass time in the .5 with the mesh seat. The original seat was just a touch to small for me. 5'10" 175lbs. I do ALOT of all day sits and sometimes move during the day, staying in the woods. The mesh seat is a huge comfort improvement for me. Well worth the upgrade .
So happy I bought this seat. Super comfortable and spacious!
Ten times more comfy than standard seat
This is a must have for those long days. Great addition to my hang and hung setup. I have them on both my 1.0 stands.
Customer service is poor. Charged a $50 restocking fee for the product for a return unused plus shipping.
Very comfortable and durable. Happy with the response of this company to fix issues as they come rather than sweep under the rug and just blame things on “user error.”
Have not hunted with it yet but seems very comfortable around the yard and installation was very easy. Didnt seem to add much weight over the stock seat my 1.0 came with.
It’s super comfortable and very well built I wouldn’t have a stand without it!
It sets great but when u got it folded up the ears want go into place to hold seat into place for transporting stand
Just sat in mine a lot more comfortable then old seat
