Hunt like a Wolf
Whitetail Roadshow purchase and definitely worth it. Although the system is designed to be light, it is still easier and more comfortable to place that weight on your hips/frame. The waist belt also helps prevent shifting when sneaking through the thick nasty. Perfect addition for the .75.
Pretty comfortable and easy to install. The only reason im giving it 4 stars, is due to the fact that it covers the linesman loops on my holiday harness and if I make it ride higher then its not comfortable.
Great addition to the stand to make long walks more comfortable. The straps do come loose at times but it’s not an issue to fix them every so often. The molle loops make it nice if you want to attach anything to the belt. Highly recommend!
Awesome addition to my .75. Even being a mostly private land whitetail hunter (.75-miles is as far in as I ever have to go), I'm in the south, so it's hot for much of the season. Being able to transfer some of the weight off my shoulders makes for a more comfortable carry, especially when running the added weight of a LWCG Pack on the load shelf. Keep up the good work!
Great asset for getting the stand and everything else I carry in deep without shoulder pain as the load now rests on my hips. Quality is good. I would have given 5 stars but somehow both buckles came loose and it fell off while unloaded. Hopefully with more break in that won’t happen again.
Nice addition to setup, keeps stand from tipping forward when bending down to clear obstacles. Prevents shoulder straps from digging into armpits by shifting weight of gear onto hips. Good quality material, and trim to eliminate unnecessary weight. Nice product. Thanks.
I run a .5 and this is a must have for me. I am 6'2" and the stand hits me right at the belt line when on my back. Not only does it help with the weight but it also provide a nice cushion to help with the stand rubbing my back.
I think a waist belt is a must for carrying my stand on my back. Even when that stand is so light. Sometimes, though, I strap everything on the stand. Sticks, pack, bow. It can get heavy, for long walks into your spot. The belt is simple and works good. It's tall and thin and light.
I had put a belt from an old frame pack on my .75 and used it that way until the lone wolf version was available to purchase. I switched them when I bought the lone wolf one, and although the lone wolf one worked well, the old frame pack belt was more comfortable. The difference is that the old belt was a lot thicker and skinner, so it pushed the stand away from contact with my back and because it was not as wide it didn't interfere with my harness. It gave it a frame pack feel. I only noticed the difference when i loaded up the stand with a lot of stuff and had a long walk in and out. If your not going to overload the stand with gear, which is why I think we are all trying to lighten up our gear, then you will like the lone wolf belt.
Waist support has been a great addition to the stand. With the weight to the waist shoulder stress is reduced. My set up varies throughout the season between 20-25lbs. With the load lifter straps and the waist support it is hardly noticeable. Highly recommend!
